How to Receive a Medical Marijuana card in Oklahoma?
The modern history of Oklahoma with cannabis began in April 2015, as House Bill 2154 was signed in law by former Governor Mary Fallin, which enabled clinical CBD trials. For the first time in this state House Bill 2835, CBD clinical trials would develop to people over the age of 18. This bill was signed in May 2016 by Gov. Fallin.
As the efforts of the CBD clinical trial began, as early as the spring of 2014 Oklahomans was pushing for medical access. In 2014, Setbacks made progress, but by 2016, State Question 788 was qualified. In June 2018 the public voted on medical marijuana and State Question 788, despite there was serious opposition.

Conditions Required for Medical Cannabis Treatment Qualification
In Oklahoma, unlike other states, there is no list of qualification conditions – which makes it quite unique and unrestricted.
The initiative that legalized medical cannabis or marijuana, (Question 788 of Oklahoma), states, “There are no qualifying conditions. A medical marijuana license must be recommended according to the accepted standards a reasonable and prudent physician would follow when recommending or approving any medication. No physician may be unduly stigmatized or harassed for signing a medical marijuana license application.”
Although in Oklahoma there are no conditions to qualify, you still need to be able to demonstrate the benefits of cannabis use. Be sure that documents showing your medical needs are available during your visit to the doctor. Included are:
Detailed of patients like records and charts
Physical therapy records
Current prescriptions
All details of applicant’s hospital visits
Results of medical tests
Once the applicants have been approved by their doctor, they must apply via the state online system. Payments are collected through omma.ok.gov. For the registration, applicants must use a legitimate e-mail address to receive notifications.
